Context
Abbey DLD Group of Colleges comprises three independent colleges in London, Manchester, and Cambridge, known for their academic excellence and international student communities. The group required updated prospectuses for each location that would feel unified as a family of publications while allowing each college to retain its own distinct character and sense of place.
Approach
Working within the existing brand guidelines, the project focused on refining layout, structure, and image selection to create a consistent design language across all three publications. The central challenge was finding the right balance between consistency and individuality, ensuring the prospectuses clearly belonged together without feeling interchangeable. Outdated visuals were replaced with fresh, contemporary imagery, and variations in hierarchy, typography, and spacing were consolidated into a cohesive visual system that improved reading flow and felt appropriate for an international student audience.
Impact
The updated set of prospectuses established a unified, professional presence across the Abbey DLD Group. The refined layouts strengthened brand consistency, improved accessibility for international audiences, and provided a clear, cohesive foundation for future publications.
