I'm Zoe

I'm Zoe, a freelance graphic designer and marketer based in the UK. For the past decade I've worked across design and marketing, and for the last six years independently, with clients ranging from independent businesses and charities to established organisations and international brands.

I believe listening comes before making. The best design grows from genuine understanding, of what a brand is, who it's for, and what it needs to say. My work spans branding, editorial, print, and campaigns, and whatever the project, the aim is always the same: design that feels considered, true to the person or organisation behind it, and built to last.

Outside of client work I enjoy undertaking self-initiated projects, independent research, and creative experiments. It's where I follow ideas for their own sake, and it's what keeps the rest of my practice honest.

Approach.

Every project begins with listening. I take time to understand your goals, your audience, and what you want the work to achieve, so that the design grows from genuine insight rather than assumption.

From there I explore ideas, refine directions, and develop visuals that feel distinct and considered. I try to keep the process open and straightforward throughout, with clear communication at every stage. Good design should do more than look beautiful. It should say something, connect with people, and last.
